The Petrarchan Sonnet Poem
Because I care I risk everything
To see you, because of the following
You show me, our love goes this world
It also goes beyond the world's rules.
You told me that you are different from them
Different from all of whom I have seen
You come to me like an angel sent down.
You were sent down to send my hard times away.
You show me there is a place in this world,
A place where I can truly stay.
You understand that I cannot be there with you,
Not every single second of the day
Yet you are still by my side helping me,
Helping me through every day of my little life.
